Jindabyne – A Perfect Snow Skiing Destination

Being a snowboarder from Sydney, I always knew Jindabyne like the back of my hand. Located right next to the Kosciuszko National Park, Jindabyne derived its name from an aesthetic lake called as Jindabyne. I was aware about the fact that Snowboard and ski enthusiastics always turned towards Jindabyne accommodation for its reasonable pricing as compared to other forms of accommodation. With prices being tailor made for any kind of budget, it is one of the best cheap ski holidays options you got on the table.

A short drive from Jindabyne took me to the slopes of the town where I had a wonderful time indulging myself in snowboarding and skiing. This part of town is also the perfect place to be if you are looking for some raunchy night life. Ideally, visiting Jindabyne during the winter is a wonderful option. I opted for a snow accommodation Jindabyne and I must admit that the stay was nothing less than a dream.

Once in Jindabyne, ski hire is not an issue at all. You can go ahead and ski at Thredbo, Charlotte Pass or Perisher-Blue. The fact that you don’t have to deal with deep snow makes Jindabyne a great holiday destination, especially with children. Jindabyne is not recommended for a one day trip. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach the place from Sydney. Hence, opting for a Jindabyne accommodation and starting fresh the next day makes lot more sense. To ensure that your skiing booking is done and dusted before you reach the place, I would recommend you to search for Jindabyne ski hire online.
